Terms of service

Only you, the renter, is to wear the garment. You are booking for one event, and are going to wear it for one event only.

You agree to NOT wash the garment.

You agree to NOT make alterations or temporary adjustments to the garment.

If you rent a garment from HC and its wrong size or you don’t like how it looks, you agree to send it back but still pay rental price. Ask HC about sizing, measurements or organise a try on.

If you are to steal/not return the garment a police report will come into action.

You will be required to pay full RETAIL price if the dress is not returned. 

All garments are hand-washed by Holly's Collection. On a rare occasion, if the garment is returned in a condition that requires excessive cleaning, an additional cleaning fee of $20 will be charged, depending on the extent of cleaning required. Holly's Collection reserves the right to determine whether a garment requires excessive cleaning and the applicable cleaning fee. An invoice will be issued via email, and payment must be made within one week of the invoice date.

The rental price does not include dry-cleaning fee. If a garment is returned with stains or damage that cannot be resolved through normal cleaning, you will be responsible for paying the dry cleaning fee. Holly's Collection will provide an invoice and receipt as evidence of the cleaning costs. 

You agree to pay any applicable Cleaning fee within one week of the garment's return.

Depending on the extent of the damage (including damage that hasn't been fixed by dry clean), you may be required to pay full retail price of the garment, it is up to the owner of Holly’s Collection as to wether the garment is deemed rentable or not after damage. You agree to pay this within two weeks after the rental was returned to HC. 

Damages can include tears, rips, burns, holes, permanent stains such as red wine, makeup, missing embellishments like buttons, zippers. Alterations to the garment, and more.

Payment covering  a damaged garment does not entitle the customer to keep the dress. All garments remain the property of Holly’s Collection at all times, unless Holly's Collection states otherwise. 

If you refuse to return or replace damaged garments you will be added to the Renters Black List (Holly's Collection is apart of the private NZ Dress Rental community). You will no longer use Holly’s Collection’s service. 

Money will be refunded to only those who have booked a garment but then the previous renter has damaged the garment, and garment can no longer be supplied.

You rent a garment for a short period of time from HC, you agree to return the garment to HC and on time (normally within 48 hours after your event, you will be given a return date).

POSTAL RENTALS - via NZ Post.

Your rental is to be dropped off at the post office within approx 48 hours after your event (for Saturday event, drop package at post office latest 1pm Mon)

PICK UP/DROP OFF RENTALS - by you.

You have organised to pick up your rental from HC. And you are to drop the garment off within 48 hours after your event (for Saturday event, drop rental back at location you picked up from latest 8pm Mon) HC will give you pick up instructions.

It is your responsibility to get the garment back to HC ASAP, in time for the next person renting.

Before returning please notify HC if there are any damages to the garment.

If you are unable to drop off at the post office or to HC address, you will have a plan b to get the garment back to HC on time eg. family member to drop off.

For Friday/Saturday rentals, you need to book by Tuesday 7:30am.
